The refurbishment of the historic 1845 station, which was carried out in 2020, aimed, among other things, to protect the building from vibrations from rail traffic. It was decided to apply vertical vibro-acoustic insulation to the foundations. This reduced the impact of vibrations on the structure and thus reduced the vulnerability of the building to damage caused by structural vibrations.
