During the modernisation of Piekarska Street in Bytom, it was important to reduce the social costs (the inconvenience of the works carried out for residents) associated with the reconstruction of the junction of Piekarska and Powstańców Śląskich Streets. The contractor decided to use an innovative technology of prefabricated turnouts, which allows for a significant reduction in the time when the intersection is closed to traffic. Epufloor supplied sub-slab vibration isolation mats, which were installed in the track bed structure.
