The modernisation of the Trzebinia – Jaworzno Szczakowa route on the E30 Krzeszowice – Kraków line was intended, among other things, to increase passenger comfort, reduce journey times and protect the route environment from vibrations generated by passing rail vehicles. Sub-ballast mats supplied by Epufloor were used on sections of the route requiring effective vibro-acoustic insulation.
