EPUFLEX ERS
Polyurethane PUR resins
The EPUFLEX ST system, comprising primers and two-component polyurethane resins, is dedicated for continuous or discrete resilient rail support and fixation in railway, metro and tram tracks. EPUFLEX ST system provides very good vibro-acoustic and electrical insulation of the rail, and is particularly suitable for sections where it is important to reduce vibration and noise levels (especially secondary noise) emitted into the track environment.
THE EPUFLEX ST SYSTEM CAN BE USED IN THE FOLLOWING TYPES
OF BALLASTLESS TRACK SUPERSTRUCTURE:
- Embedded Rail System (ERS) – continuous elastic rail fastening
- Embedded Block System (EBS) – Twin Block sleepers system embedded in the slabtrack by PUR resin
- Discrete rail fastening system with discrete or continuous resilient support
- Mixed system – with continuous rail support and discrete mechanical fastening
- Resilient support of the track grid laid on the longitudinal continuous beams resilient support of the sleepers on the beams
ERS-M profiles
The modular Embedded Rail System consists of prefabricated elastomeric profiles that completely encapsulate and fixe the rail in concrete slab. The system provides continuous resilient support for the rail without a need for additional mechanical fastenings. Made of rubber granules and/or rubber fibres bonded with polyurethane resin, the profiles completely separate the rail from the track structure, providing the required electrical and vibro-acoustic insulation.
