Warsaw, Wilanów
On the next section of the tram route to Wilanów (over 7 km), several types of track surface were designed, taking care to limit the impact of the new track on the route's surroundings. Among them was a surface of prefabricated concrete slabs under which vibro-acoustic insulation was designed. The contractor considered the mats proposed by Epufloor to be the optimum solution, meeting the project's technical specifications. In total, more than 41,000m2 of 500/25 matswere installed on this section.
E75 Ełk – Białystok
Part of the trans-European corridor of the E75 line, is the LK41 line Elk - Goldap, which runs through the centre of Elk, close to residential buildings. For this reason, it became necessary to protect the buildings from the impact of vibrations generated from the rail road. During the modernisation of the railway line, Purasys sub-ballast mats made of virgin polyurethane, supplied by Epufloor, were used. The work was carried out in shuttle mode, interchangeably on both tracks. The system's bonding strip ensured that the mat sheets were consistently positioned, while also giving the option of removing incorrectly positioned sheets and reinstalling them.
E30 viaduct km 38,150
The project "Modernisation of the E30 railway line, stage II, section Zabrze-Katowice-Krakow. Tender 2 - Modernisation of the Trzebinia - Krzeszowice section (km 29.110-46.700 of line no. 133)' included the application of vibro-acoustic insulation on the viaduct over the Dulówka River to reduce secondary noise generated by the structure and extend the service life of the facility. The mats supplied by Epufloor were installed in March 2019, achieving the intended results.
E20 Biała Podlaska railway station
Epufloor supplied vibration isolation sub-ballast mats, which were built under the sub-ballast layer within the Biała Podlaska railway station. The work was carried out as part of a comprehensive reconstruction of three stations on the E20 line and 49 km of track.
