The Local Control Centre being built in Ostrołęka required that the control equipment to be housed there be protected against external vibration – mainly from the movement of rail vehicles. Firstly, vibration isolation mats were laid under the footing, isolating the building structure from vibrations transmitted from the track surface through the ground. Next, the side walls of the foundations and floor were protected.
