The redevelopment of Freedom Square, the central point on the map of Łódź, involved a complete change in the character of this space. The previous, rare solution in the form of a tram roundabout was replaced with a semicircle track, which made it possible to create space for small architecture and a playground. The designer designed a concrete substructure slab with dowel bars, made using the “wet” technology and isolated from the substrate with vibration isolation mats. The works contractor, Trakcja S.A., decided to use Eputrack 500/20 mats supplied by Epufloor.
