The construction of the Big Island Avenue, part of Wrocław’s eastern ring road, has made it possible to connect the Krzyki estate with Zalesie. In the section by Olszewskiego Street, as a result of surveys and measurements, the possibility of exceeding the acceptable level of vibration in single- and multi-family buildings located in the direct vicinity of the designed road was identified. It was decided to install a vibration isolation mat in the road construction in order to reduce the level of vibrations generated by vehicular traffic and transmitted through the subsoil to the surrounding buildings. The contractor decided to use Eputrack vibration isolation mats, which met the project’s technical specifications.
